The International Academy of Design & Technology - Seattle is a for-profit college. The Seattle campus was established in 2004. The Seattle campus is a branch campus of the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, Florida. It was renamed The Sanford Brown College-Seattle, and stopped accepting student applications in April 2016. The school offers specialized associate and bachelor's degrees with programs in various design specialties. Credit hours at IADT - Seattle are based on quarter terms: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring.
The Seattle location has two in-house design studios: The Agency, a graphic design agency and The Studio, an interior design group. Both groups function as real-world design businesses and complete projects for Seattle area businesses.
For the past two years, IADT - Seattle has put on "La Mode: An Evening of Fashion." IADT Interior Design students create the set design for the fashion show and student designers create the designs for the models. In 2006, more than 700 guests attended the show including Nick Verreos and Andrae Gonzalo of Bravo TV's PROJECT RUNWAY.

Admissions
IADT - Seattle requires a personal interview with an admissions representative, proof of graduation from high school or equivalency, and payment of application fee for admission.
Accreditation
The International Academy of Design & Technology is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award associate degrees and bachelor's degrees. The Academy is a member of the Career College Association and is authorized by the Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board for meeting the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree Authorization Act. The authorization is valid until May 3, 2008. IADT - Seattle is also a SEVIS approved school.
Campus
The campus occupies approximately 50,000 square feet (4,600 m2) in a freestanding facility that consists of classrooms, lecture rooms, instructional laboratories, computer labs, a library, admissions, and academic and administrative staff offices.
